Accessibility
Our goal
We want everyone to be able to learn about window and patio treatments and request a consultation on this site. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we've done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Illustrations have text descriptions, and the interactive pieces (the screen remote, the fabric explorer, the shade view and the studio) have labeled controls that work with the keyboard.
- Text colours are checked for contrast against their backgrounds.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the scroll animations are toned down, and the site never plays sound.
Known limits
- Some sections animate as you scroll. All of their text is also readable without the animation.
- Calls are scheduled on Google Calendar, which has its own accessibility support.
- The 3D studio needs a device that supports 3D graphics. Without one, it shows a still picture with a text description. Its controls work with the keyboard, and it respects reduced motion.
